Mentor
Join our cohort of UC Berkeley students by volunteering to mentor our local high schoolers
OUR MENTORSHIP TRACKS
STEM Workshops
Our STEM Workshops program focuses on weekly mentorship that explores a variety of STEM topics. Our cohort of Berkeley mentors lead and develop their own curriculum for a brief 50 minute introductory course on their passions. With these workshops, our goal is to pique student interest in STEM.
College Prep
Our College Prep program focuses on one-on-one weekly mentorship that guides high school students through the college application process. We understand that applying to college can be daunting, but, having already gone through the process, our cohort of Berkeley mentors are here to provide guidance and advice along the way.
Research
Our Research Track program allows students to design their own STEM-related projects to carry out with the help of a UC Berkeley mentor. Students receive weekly mentorship so that they always have support from project brainstorming to execution. Research Track is open to Juniors and Seniors, and with a whole semester allocated to project planning, this program welcomes newcomers to STEM as well as those who have been more immersed in STEM before joining us

OUR COMMITTEES
Training
Our Training Committee creates and develops curriculum for our mentor cohort to continually grow and improve as mentors.
Outreach & Marketing
Our Outreach/Marketing committee are our liaison between our organization and local high schools/other organizations.
Finance
Our Finance Committee handles the organization’s finances as well as manages our applications for grants and scholarships that may benefit our students.
Curriculum Development
Our Curriculum Development Committee helps to develop engaging curriculum for our STEM workshops and College Prep tracks, highlighting the unique interests and abilities of our mentors.
