Anjani Patibandla

Mentor Training Co-Director

In SENDforC, I head the Mentor Training committee along with my co-director, Almas. In this committee, we come up with specific mentor training materials that equip mentors with the tools and knowledge they need to be supportive and proficient mentors. These materials include items such as training manuals, videos, and quizzes. We also come up with topics to be presented during the general meetings in the quarter. These topics revolve around inequities in STEM and strive to educate club members and encourage discussions on disparities within the STEM community.

Eli Ester

College-Prep, Professional Development, and Career Exploration Co-Director (CPC Director)

As the CPC co-Director, I communicate with local schools to establish partnerships with SENDforc, while also assisting Yi Jen with event coordination and mentorship of the CPC committee. SENDforc's mission aligns closely with my interests in developmental psychology and education reform -- we provide resources that are, unfortunately, often, scarce for underserved populations, and I hope to continue that pursuit in graduate school and beyond.
